As part of the Talent Acquisition Team, the Sr. Recruiter will source and recruit for professional level positions, lead special projects, and identify opportunities to improve processes to ensure we are employing best practices. As a Sr. Recruiter, you will provide strategic support for multiple groups in our network in areas such as sales, corporate staff, IT, and operations.


The Sr. Recruiter will rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. You will perform a variety of tasks to support the recruiting team and report directly to the Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition.


  • Partner with the Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition to design and implement highly effective, results driven diverse sourcing strategies for key roles.
  • Act as a consultant to hiring managers across the organization, manage professional level openings and assist in developing programs such as employment branding, internal placement, and social media initiatives.
  • Drive Talent Acquisition strategies to attract top diverse talent to Young’s Market Company.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to provide their client group with strategic comprehensive sourcing strategies and help support the recruiting departments day-to-day processes to ensure they are moving forward.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts for potential sourcing and hiring.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews of high potential candidates and demonstrate the ability to anticipate your hiring manager needs and preferences.
  • Responsible for successfully managing and closing searches as well as have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to source passive diverse talent.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition on special projects, employment branding, and recruiting initiatives.
  • Manage and monitor applicant tracking system (iCIMS) to ensure all candidates and applicants are properly tracked.
  • Network and build strong relationships with key leaders and hiring managers within the organization.
  • Recommend recruitment ideas and strategies that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company.
  • Possess a strong ability to screen, interview and prepare a diverse candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the business.
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned by manager.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Recruiter with at least 2 years recruiting for professional level positions.
  • Solid platform skills and a demonstrated ability to deliver training and orientation presentations.
  • A proven track record of successful recruiting for exempt and or hard-to-fill roles.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws.
  • Must have experience with an Applicant Tracking Systems preferably with iCIMS.
  • Must have experience using S.T.A.R. or other behavioral based interviewing techniques.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a high-volume recruiting environment.
  • Strong networking and cold calling techniques.
  • Business savvy and the ability to apply to HR to add value, improve efficiencies and control costs.
  • Project management with experience developing and implementing process improvements around talent acquisition, such as social media, employee referral and internal placement programs.
  • College, Military and Diversity Program Management preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, conflict management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
