Overview

GENERAL SUMMARY

To provide support stocking products and building displays in a specified territory.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain product displays according to Young’s policies.
  • Locate and deliver stock items to a specified destination upon request.
  • Ensure incoming deliveries are accurate.
  • Stock supply room and retail showrooms with new products.
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory and submits a reorder for supervisor’s approval.
  • Checks order forms, delivery requests, and approval forms to ensure proper documentation, accuracy and on time deliveries.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalency.

 

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of the organization

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

 

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must possess valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and clean DMV record

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS – (These are required to perform the key responsibilities of the job with or without accommodations)

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Must be able to walk, stand, climb, balance, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl on a daily basis
  • Must be able to drive a reliable vehicle from account to account
