POSITION TITLE: eCommerce Account Executive - Amazon


The eCommerce Account Executive for Amazon is responsible for developing and executing the strategies required to exceed Amazon’s category growth rates. This individual will be responsible for the Vender Central maintenance process which includes item uploads, item maintenance, cost change submissions and landing page optimization. While supported regularly by marketing, product management, operations, and order fulfillment, it is incumbent upon this role to own the process and provide Amazon-specific expertise in identifying opportunities, overcoming challenges and constraints, and ultimately, driving demand growth and sales.  


  • Create & maintain website content and ensure all product pages, prices and information on the site are accurate and up to date.
  • Develop & implement tactical offers/programs to support specific products.
  • New item presentations and implementation/set up; which includes supplier collaboration and entails data manipulation, and producing creative marketing descriptions and image uploading.
  • Monitor online customer feedback and be the main point of contact for all Internal website queries.
  • Manage day to day social media implementation, site feedback, and product ratings.
  • Coordinate all website and portal activity internally and with supplier partners.
  • Manage day-to-day operations with regards to information clarification requests and delivery issues.
  • Drive ongoing content enhancement and work with internal marketing teams as needed to enhance brand image and search rank to optimize product pages.
  • Consistently and frequently use data to identify new opportunities and drive sound business decisions. Develop and report Amazon KPI dashboards, aligned with Amazon’s business drivers.
  • Collaborate with Young’s Market Company peers and Amazon fulfillment teams to minimize lead times and chargebacks and eliminate Out of Stocks.
  • Periodically meet with Amazon teams in Seattle and participate in YMCo team meetings in California.
  • Own the monthly process for preparing, analyzing, and delivering the Sales & Operations Planning.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned to enhance our relationship with Amazon.



  • A Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in a relevant field is required
  • 3+ years of experience in sales and ecommerce management at the national account level, alcohol beverage industry preferred

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in
written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must possess valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and clean DMV record. 


  • Expertise in Vendor Central and related tools highly desirable 
  • High proficiency in Excel required
  • Detail oriented, energetic, open to new ways of thinking
  • Ability to consider multiple points of view and propose solutions accordingly
  • Able to succeed with ambiguity and working independently
  • Desire to create value and push the boundaries of growth

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS – (These are required to perform the key responsibilities of the job with or without accommodations)

  • Must be able to travel for meetings in multiple states 
  • Must be able to work at a computer for up to 8 hours per day on a daily basis
  • Must be able to communicate in person and over the phone/skype.

Sales Tasks & Activities: Knowledge of processes, tools, techniques and theory behind selling the organization’s products or services.

Knowledge of Customers & Sales Channels: Knowledge of and ability to coordinate multiple and diverse options for selling the organization’s products and services. Knowledge of and ability to utilize customer profile and information.


Knowledge of Product Line: Knowledge of specific products and associated development processes and strategy.
