Reporting to the Senior Director of S&OP, the S&OP Senior Analyst is a newly created role that will be a key value driver for Young’s Market Company on their S&OP journey. We are looking for a highly energetic individual who has a passion for creating valuable analytics and insights.


Young’s Market Company is a fine wine and spirits distribution network of 3,000+ associates and $3+ Billion in revenue that operates in ten western states. Young’s distributes thousands of fine wine and spirits products from the world’s leading manufacturers.


  • Own the monthly process for preparing, analyzing, and delivering the Sales & Operations Planning deliverables for all business units
  • Work cross-functionally across Sales, Finance, Commercial, Demand Planning, Portfolio, and Client Services to gather input and deliver respective reporting packages
  • Work with the Senior Director, S&OP to continuously improve the process, ensure relevance to each BU, and drive value through insights and outputs from the routine
  • Individually contribute to improve process development, bringing your best thinking to life as we develop the routine
  • Become a SME in our new technology, promote its benefits and share knowledge with users


  • Bachelor degree in relevant field required
  • 5+ years of combined industry experience in several of the following areas: Procurement, Operations, Project Management, Finance, Commercialization and/or Sales
  • 4 - 6 years of experience working as a business analyst
  • 2+ years of experience in developing, supporting, and contributing to an organization's S&OP process
  • Experience with Oracle Demantra (or other industry-leading software) is desired
  • High proficiency in Excel and other relevant enterprise applications
  • Ability to summarize and effectively communicate complex subject matter
  • Proven analytical skills when working with large amounts of data with the ability to summarize and articulate risks/opportunities, options and recommendations
  • Detail oriented, energetic, open to new ways of thinking
  • Ability to consider multiple points of view and propose solutions accordingly
  • Able to succeed with ambiguity and working independently
  • Desire to create value and push the boundaries of growth
