    GENERAL SUMMARY

    Currently Young’s Market Company of Arizona, is searching for a candidate to fill a position in our Sales Internship Program. This Internship is designed to advance the employee’s

    growth and develop personal selling techniques geared toward maximizing the sale and distribution of Young’s Market Company of Arizona with existing and prospective retail accounts. 

    Responsibilities

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Takes direction while supporting the functions of the distributor sales team.
    • Participates in calls to accounts to provide service and/or merchandising support.
    • Lifts and moves cases of wine, spirits and beer to merchandise and build displays.
    • Participates in developing positive relationships with customers and prospective customers.
    • Participates in design critiques when appropriate.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications 

    • Must be 21 years of age
    • Permanent, legal right to work in U.S.
    • Valid driver’s license and successful completion of background check.
    • Required to work independently and manage time commitments to meet established service goals.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Demonstrated Leadership skills.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Experience in managing multiple priorities.
    • Experience in problem solving skills.
    • Demonstrated teamwork experience.

     PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS – (These are required to perform the key responsibilities of the job with or without accommodations)

    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
    • Must be able to walk, stand, climb, balance, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl on a daily basis
    • Must be able to drive a reliable vehicle from account to account
