POSITION TITLE: Sr. Director, Merchandising Capabilities
The Sr. Director, Merchandising Capabilities will plan, schedule, conduct and track training initiatives for the Chain Merchandising group in the state of California.
This role will partner with training, and HR leadership to design and develop new training content.
The Sr. Director, Merchandising Capabilities will administer training systems and reporting, measure training effectiveness and provide accurate information to YMCO management that will pertain to the progress and status of all YMCO training programs and initiatives assigned.
INTERN PROGRAM RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with recruiting to source and select candidates for intern positions.
Attend college recruiting events.
Communicate with intern candidates from onboarding trough the completion of the 6 month internship.
Work closely with Drug/Mass account executives to ensure training is up to date and interns are executing job function properly.
Collect and report out data on intern effectiveness.
Facilitate all intern training classroom sessions.
Communicate closely with management to coordinate intern integration into the team.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION: A Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: This position will require the ability to read, analyze, and implement technical procedures and training. This position will also require the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. This position will further require the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
