  • Overview

    The Sr. HRIS Analyst will define, develop and implement solutions for proposed and ongoing human resource information systems and subsystems. This position will analyze business requirements, determine software requirements and processes to meet data management needs.  The Sr. HRIS Analyst will act as a technical point of contact and is expected to demonstrate a high level of subject matter expertise in their functional and technical area. 


    The Sr. HRIS Analyst will develop or modify programs to ensure the effective storage, retrieval and reporting of employee data. The Sr. HRIS Analyst will be responsible for complex reporting, metrics compilation and analysis of statistical data. Continuously identifies system efficiencies and effectiveness and identifying alternatives that better meet business needs. This position will ensure integrity of HR databases and provides HRIS systems support to end-users. 


    • Function as a subject matter expert and facilitate system conversions/upgrades, customizations and support the reporting needs for HR.
    • Recommend, plan, and deploy data/system solutions by developing a formal project plan for carrying out each assigned project, using appropriate planning methods and experimental design and testing.
    • Responsible for the configuration and administration of multiple HR systems.
    • Utilize data and systems knowledge to design, develop, and maintain complex custom reports and queries as needed by stakeholders.
    • Responsible for creating and conducting data integrity audits.
    • Perform data analysis to ensure the integrity of systems, delivery of information, and communicate process improvement opportunities to internal and external stakeholders. 
    • Develop and support the testing and implementation of Integrations out of and into the HR System.
    • Develop user procedures, guidelines and department procedure documentation including training materials to HR team members on system functionality.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.



    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in HR, Business, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 5 to 7 years of experience as an HRIS Analyst managing HR Systems (such as Workday, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP).
    • Significant exposure to HRIS workflows, HR functionality and associated processes.
    • Must have experience with creating and modifying system interface files (inbound and outbound integrations).
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUp, Macros).
    • Must have working knowledge of HR business processes/procedures terminology and compliance.
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage change successfully through influencing others.
    • Must have previous exposure with active participation in system-related HRIS projects.


    • Proficiency with SQL and XSL highly desirable.
    • Prior experience with Workday is highly desirable.
    • Experience with Workday Integrations and Workday Studio highly desirable.
    • Experience in configuring Kronos or equivalent Timekeeping systems is highly desirable.
