The Systems Engineer is responsible to manage and deliver stable, responsive service levels from network systems to both internal and external customers. This position is also responsible to enforce departmental standards and procedures including systems administration standards, architecture, and program documentation requirements by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
This position will require the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. This position will require the ability to write reports, procedure manuals. This position will require the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
This position will require the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. This position will require the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
This position will require the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. This position will require the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
