To maximize the sale of supplier luxury spirit brands to high image and luxury spirit accounts through effective account management, selling execution, training and communication resulting in the achievement of company and supplier objectives.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred. Understanding of on and off premise accounts. Good understanding of market trends for craft and luxury spirits. Minimum 3 years’ experience in beverage/distributor sales.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, profitability, beverage cost, percentages, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: The position must possess valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and clean DMV record
Sales Function: Knowledge of the major responsibilities, accountabilities, and organization of the sales function and sales information systems.
Sales Tasks & Activities: Knowledge of processes, tools, techniques and theory behind selling the organization’s luxury products or available services.
Knowledge of Customers & Sales Channels: Knowledge of and ability to coordinate multiple and diverse options for selling the organization’s products and services. Knowledge of and ability to utilize customer profile information.
