    POSITION TITLE: National and Strategic Accounts - Sales & Compliance Coordinator

     

    GENERAL SUMMARY

    The NASA Sales & Compliance Coordinator will support the National and Regional Account Team(NARA) by focusing on managing pricing and compliance, as well as developing and implementing tools for the team primarily around compliance and pricing. This role will regularly interface with the Young’s National Account Executive team, general market and top 25 suppliers to ensure compliance  and pricing needs are met.  This may include the development, coordination, and implementation of program compliance reporting, sales support materials, account transfers, NA budgets, and special pricing.

     

    The National Accounts Coordinator will be the primary liaison (and more importantly, often the first point of contact) between our much valued National Accounts supplier community and on premise retailers.

    Responsibilities

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    Compliance:

    • Act as the key conduit between our NAM’s, General Market and Clients on compliance programs.
    • Works closely with the NARA Leadership Team and the NAE’s to help them achieve a department goal of a minimum 95% program compliance rate on all mandatory national and regional account programs and promotions.
    • This role must be well versed and know how to use Diver and Oracle. Will also work closely with Business Development team and across the Young’s network.
    • Generates monthly compliance reports to key Clients
    • Generates monthly compliance reports to NAMs, General Market DOS and all necessary gate keeps for the On Premise at the state level.
    • Keeps the NARA Leadership Team well informed on program compliance and identify opportunities on closing the largest gaps among Top 25 Clients.

    Sales

    • Manages sales information, pricing, and compliance for approximately 20 national chain customers that minimally impact the California market.
    • Gain menu placements and promotions when possible
    • Execute and accomplish sales objectives for each account that are consistent with customer needs

    Coordinator/Analysist:

    • Manage/Track all charges to NA Tactical Budget
    • Prepare and assist on presentations, developing reports and analyzing sales report for NARA
    • Prepare data or computer entry by compiling and sorting information provided by suppliers and Account Managers
    • Review and update data with Account Managers assigned to accounts for accuracy
    • Maintain data entry by reviewing account and product information, updating as needed
    • Maintain account information for buying groups
    • Work with Management and Account Executives to prioritize entry information
    • Assist in special projects as assigned, i.e., quarterly NA Newsletter, Events, Conferences, etc.
    • Protect the Company and employees by keeping information pertaining to either confidential.
    • Basic administrative needs for SVP:
      • Book travel and expenses
      • Prepare correspondence, including drafting letters and documents as needed for management.
    • Organize general information-incoming and help manage the SVP’s calendar

     

    Qualifications

    EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION: A Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in related field from an accredited four year college or university; or equivalent experience.

    •             A minimum of 2 years of sales, analyst or compliance experience is preferred.

     

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CSS/CSW certifications preferred and also must possess valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and clean DMV record

     

    SKILLS/ABILITIES:

     

    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) environment.
    • Must have previous experience using PowerPoint in the Corporate level
    • Must have strong Excel skills and ideally ability to work with Excel Formulas, Pivot Tables, VLookups
    • Must be able to think strategically and identify new opportunities for growth.
    • Must possess confidence in their abilities to work cross functionally within the organization.

     

    COMMUNICATION SKILLS: This position will require the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. This position will also require the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. This position will require the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization

     

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: This position will require the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.

     

    REASONING ABILITY: This position will require the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. This position will also require the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

     

    Other Qualifications:

     

    Sales Tasks & Activities: Knowledge of processes, tools, techniques and theory behind selling the organization’s products or services.

     

    Knowledge of Customers & Sales Channels: Knowledge of specific customer’s business operations and ability to coordinate multiple and diverse options for selling the organization’s products and services to each. Knowledge of and ability to utilize customer profile and information.

     

    Knowledge of Product Line: Knowledge of specific products and associated development process and strategy.
