  • Overview

    Ensure chain division pricing presented to retail customers are accurately programmed in our system in a timely and efficient manner. This will be accomplished through communicating with Account Execs, Pricing and Credit. The objective is to detect and / or prevent pricing issues from becoming a financial loss to the Company, while meeting both Supplier and Customer expectations.

    Responsibilities

    • On a monthly basis, obtain customer pricing file and work with Account Executives to correct any differences with our files. This should be done within the first week of each new quarter.
    • Review CDPs requested by AE to ensure the program is applicable to the specific account and supplier support is available. If proper, obtain approval from VP Chain or Director of Sales. Discuss any issues with VP pricing if program is not yet in the system.  Discuss resolution with VP Chain.
    •  Daily review of invoices against customer DSD. Prepare spreadsheet for all differences and resolve with AE within 5 business days. Prepare collect backs with supporting documents to AE to follow up with customer.
    • Prepare and submit all pricing adjustments for credit to Customer Service. Monitor completion of credit rebills. 
    • Review price/vintage/discount changes notification and work with AE to get any required communication prepared for presentation to buyers
    • Research open and short paid invoices.
    • Other duties as assigned; special projects, and provides administrative and clerical support (such as incentive recaps and input, samples, and salesperson goal inputs).
    • Provides the tools necessary to the sales force to fulfill sales objectives.
    • Helps prepare for weekly sales meetings, and prepares meetings rooms before and straightens after meetings are adjourned daily.
    • Fields incoming phone calls and offers assistance when necessary.
    • Use of personal vehicle to run errands and attend events.
    • Provides coverage for administrative assistants.

     

    Qualifications

    • Education and/or Experience

                Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four year-year college or university, or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Language Skills

     

    Ability to read, analyze and interpret reports and business. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from suppliers, managers, employees and customers, if necessary. Must have strong communication skills.

     

    • Mathematical Skills

     

    Ability to work with general mathematical concepts such as discounting and probability. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions and percentages to practical situations.

     

    • Computer Skills

     

    Ability to utilize a personal computer and Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and outlook). Excel knowledge and AS400 experience required. Ability to operator 10-key by touch.

     

    • Reasoning Ability

     

    Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and prioritize accordingly.'

     

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

     

     

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
