  • Overview

    The Brand Ambassador - Tito's will maximize the sale of supplier brands to customers and consumers through effective account management, brand promotion and communication that permits achievement of Company and client objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan time and activities to ensure achievement of company and supplier established goals and sales objectives within assigned accounts.
    • Work in conjunction with Sales Representatives/ Merchandisers, District Managers, Directors of Field Merchandising to ensure effective execution of distribution, display presence, programming, initiatives, POS, and brand awareness.
    • Developing daily, weekly, monthly written plans for execution.
    • Effectively servicing and merchandising assigned accounts.
    • Increase brand visibility and maximizing point of sale opportunities.
    • Work with Company management to implement brand portfolio tools and training.
    • Build and develop effective relationships with all decision makers in assigned accounts as well as Chain Management (i.e. Center Store Merchandisers, Assistant District Managers, District Managers).
    • Communicate issues, opportunities and market intelligence with appropriate management through written, electronic and verbal means.
    • Train and develop sales teams on supplier brands, goals, merchandising standards, and initiatives.
    • This position is required to serve as information resources for, and conduits between the field, supplier and the Company’s management.

    Qualifications

    EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION: A Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited four year college or university and/or related experience.

    • 2 to 4 years of sales experience in the beverage alcohol industry

    COMMUNICATION SKILLS: This position will require the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. This position will also require the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. This position will further require the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

     

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: This position will require the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. This is position will also require the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

     

    REASONING ABILITY: This position will require the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. This position will also require the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

     

    SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) environment.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical and objection handling skills.
    • Proven abilities to develop selling and promotion strategies targeted to enhance wine and spirit sales within an account.
    • Proven track record of successful selling.
    • Ability to work with management, colleagues, and customers throughout the business and industry at every level.

    JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

    • Sales Tasks & Activities: Knowledge of processes, tools, techniques and theory behind selling the organization’s products or services.
    • Knowledge of Customers & Sales Channels: Knowledge of specific customer’s business operations and ability to coordinate multiple and diverse options for selling the organization’s products and services to each. Knowledge of and ability to utilize customer profile and information.
    • Knowledge of Product Line: Knowledge of specific products and associated development process and strategy.

     

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS – (These are required to perform the key responsibilities of the job with or without accommodations)

    • Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
    • Walk, stand, climb, balance, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl on a daily basis
    • Drive a reliable vehicle from account to account

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must possess a valid state driver's license.
    • Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record
    • This job requires the use of your personal vehicle of which you will be reimbursed for business related driving expenses.
    • This job requires a person to be 21 years of age or older.
